As an organization, we are new and yet some hotels have been in existence for over 20 years. In the very first phase of the integration there is a lot of focus on the financial, sales and markting processes. For us as a management team, it was also clear that we had “something” to do to also get the people in our organization on board with the new story. I went to Lara for advice and together we put together some fun, pragmatic and interesting workshops to get both our mission and organizational culture explicit. This is still a good basis for both internal communication and a number of HR processes.
