Vrije Universiteit Brussel
Marc Goldstein, Professor Technology Entrepreneurship
The Starter Seminars are an initiative by the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Interface (KTI) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
These seminars are mainly targeted at researchers (often, but no exclusively in engineering and life-sciences) who recognize the valorization potential of their research and wish to prepare for either a spin-off or a licensing contract.
In eleven sessions of three hours each we introduce the participants to the basic of entrepreneurship: strategy, marketing, finance, IP… Ingrid is our contributor for the very challenging Human Resources dimension. She has proven over and over again that she is capable of explaining the human dimension of entrepreneurship to those people for whom it is often one of the most difficult things to grasp: engineers.
She discusses the personality traits and styles of entre/intrapreneurs, gives advice on how to select team members, discusses the importance -and challenge- of diversity in a group.
